My passion is to hear and help support individuals. To enable them to feel seen, heard and be their authentic selves.
I pursued a career as a Psychotherapist driven by my own life experiences. These experiences have granted me the ability to empathise with and comprehend the feelings of pain, fear, anxiety, dissociation, denial, and avoidance, that individuals often grapple with. Moreover, I have developed a profound understanding of working with trauma and the deep impact that can have.
I have personally undergone continuous therapy, and I comprehend how intimidating it can be to embark on the journey as a client. I wish to offer you reassurance by letting you know that I am fully dedicated to supporting you and will be your steady guide. This space, reliable and open, is yours to freely express all your concerns, and together, we will navigate and address them. Through my years of life experiences, dedicated study, and therapeutic practice, I have experienced a profound transformation in how I perceive and live my life. This transformation is my driving force. I aspire to extend to others what I have gained: the belief that, step by step, you can overcome challenges and make positive changes.
When you reach out, we will arrange an initial 30-minute session at no cost. This introductory session serves a dual purpose: it allows us to become acquainted and provides you, as the client, with insight into my approach and style. Simultaneously, it affords me, as your psychotherapist, the opportunity to understand the challenges you are facing and assess whether my methods can be of benefit to you. At the conclusion of this initial session, if you decide to continue our work together, we will discuss the scheduling, confidentiality, and formalities. However, if you choose not to proceed, which is absolutely acceptable and can happen, I can offer guidance to direct you toward other suitable resources or professionals.
'People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don't find myself saying, "Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner." I don't try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.' - Carl Rogers
